Simulated product tour · no transaction capability

See the complete basis-trading lifecycle before connecting anything.

This tour explains the intended user flow and control model. It does not create an account, connect a wallet, request a signature, deposit funds, or place an order.

Intended user

Someone eligible for both venues who wants a bounded, paired AAPL position.

This is not a savings account or a passive-yield product. It is an execution system for a leveraged, two-venue trading strategy that can lose money even when its market exposure is intended to be neutral.

The intended end-to-end flow

  1. 01

    Confirm eligibility

A future live user must be admitted under an approved jurisdiction policy and accept the current terms and risk disclosure. That admission path is not open.

  2. 02

    Establish owner control

Create or connect the owner account, add recovery, and choose the wallet that will authorize the Robinhood Chain vault and Lighter association.

  3. 03

    Connect both venues

Associate a user-owned Lighter subaccount, prepare the Robinhood Chain strategy graph, and verify that neither venue binding can be silently substituted.

  4. 04

    Fund each leg separately

The Robinhood Chain vault needs USDG for AAPL spot and ETH for owner transactions. The Lighter subaccount needs USDC deposited via Ethereum mainnet and sufficient margin.

  5. 05

    Qualify an opportunity

The strategy compares executable spot and perpetual quotes, then rejects stale, oversized, under-collateralized, or net-negative candidates.

  6. 06

    Coordinate or unwind

A qualified intent enters both legs under one durable episode. A partial or failed hedge moves toward bounded recovery instead of being reported as complete.

  7. 07

    Reconcile continuously

Independent venue and chain observations must agree on balances, positions, orders, and control state before the account can remain active.

  8. 08

    Pause, close, and withdraw

The user can pause new entries, close the agent, revoke execution authority, and sign owner withdrawals after the system confirms a safe terminal state.

Capital and cost checklist

Robinhood Chain

Owner wallet + ETH + USDG

  • ETH pays deployment and owner-signed transactions.
  • USDG buys the AAPL spot token.
  • Spot liquidity, gas, and slippage affect the net result.
Lighter

Eligible subaccount + USDC via Ethereum mainnet

  • USDC deposited and settled through Ethereum mainnet supports the AAPL perpetual short.
  • Trading fees, funding, margin, and liquidation rules apply.
  • Collateral stays subject to venue and withdrawal risk.
Opero release

No published all-in cost yet

  • The planned first canary limits submitted trade notional to $25 per leg.
  • That policy limit is not an onchain vault-balance cap.
  • That cap is not a funding request or a return estimate.
  • No platform fee schedule or validated performance record is published.
User control

Automation does not remove owner authority.

  • The owner authorizes venue association, deployment, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Policy can stop new entries or force reduce-only operation.
  • Closing revokes execution authority before owner withdrawal.
  • A recovery path reduces risk; it cannot guarantee a fill, unwind, or loss-free exit.
